Summary
The series follows the misadventures of Junior and Barney, two well‑meaning but inept members of the Cape Kennedy ground crew who were never meant to leave Earth. Assigned to load supplies onto a spacecraft, they are accidentally launched into space when the launch button is pressed instead of the lunch button, sending the pair hurtling into the unknown.
Their spacecraft crash‑lands on an uncharted planet where they encounter Honk, a peculiar, furry creature distinguished by a single horn on its head. Honk communicates through a combination of honks and electronic beeps, quickly becoming both companion and guide to the stranded astronauts.
Episodes typically revolve around Junior and Barney’s ongoing attempts to repair their damaged spacecraft and return home, or their encounters with the various alien beings who happen to visit the planet.
