Summary
In the town of Cedarville, Layne Reed is a gifted and resourceful teenager temporarily under the care of her aunt while her parents, Cheryl and Rob, are away. During her campaign for student office at Cedarville Middle School, where she competes against her rival, Jasper Marr, Layne and her friend Zora Morris unexpectedly discover VIN, an advanced, intelligent automobile. VIN is being pursued by a covert group led by Kwon and Riggins, who are determined to reclaim the vehicle for their own purposes.
When Layne’s DNA is synchronised with VIN’s operating system, she becomes the car’s designated operator, forging a unique bond that thrusts her into a series of high‑stakes adventures. Together with Zora, Layne must protect VIN from those who seek to exploit him while navigating the challenges of school, family, and her newfound responsibilities.
