Summary
Set in Singapore, the narrative follows Marine Lieutenants Tom Grayson and Frank Corby as they identify the threat posed by a masked extremist called the Lightning, whose arsenal of electrically powered weapons forms the basis of his ambitions for world conquest. After the Lightning annihilates their unit and later kills Grayson’s father while he is assisting with the inquiry into the weapon, the two marines devote themselves to halting the antagonist’s activities and ensuring his apprehension.
