Summary
The series centres on a group of students serving Saturday detention at Kent High. Although other pupils are on campus for activities such as basketball, debate practice, and music rehearsal, the routine day is shattered when a nearby chemical plant explodes. In the aftermath, the students must cooperate with limited supplies to survive and defend themselves against people transformed into zombie‑like creatures by the toxic fallout.
