Summary
Josh Futturman, an unambitious janitor, leads an otherwise undistinguished life defined largely by his dedication to the video game Biotic Wars, a title widely regarded as impossible to complete. Upon finally achieving victory after numerous attempts, he is unexpectedly visited by the game’s protagonists, Tiger and Wolf, who reveal that Biotic Wars is a simulation designed to identify a saviour capable of preventing an impending global catastrophe. Recruited into their mission, Futturman joins the pair on a series of time‑travel expeditions intended to alter key historical events and avert the real‑world Biotic Wars.
