Summary
The story centres on two ordinary parents who go on the run with their family after discovering that their children possess mutant abilities. Forced into hiding from government authorities, they join an underground network of mutants struggling to survive in a society that views them as threats.
By the conclusion of the first season, ideological fractures emerge within the group, leading several members of the underground to defect and align themselves with the Inner Circle. The second season explores the escalating conflict between these factions, as well as other groups driven by their own extreme and competing visions for the future of mutantkind.
