Summary
Following the death of Bruce Wayne, his adopted son Turner Hayes becomes the prime suspect in the murder investigation. Framed alongside him are three fugitives from Gotham’s margins: siblings Harper Row and Cullen Row, and the unpredictable criminal Duela. Pursued by both the GCPD and District Attorney Harvey Dent, the group forms an uneasy alliance to clear their names and uncover the truth behind Bruce Wayne’s murder.
Turner receives support from his friend Stephanie Brown and from his classmate Carrie Kelley, who secretly operates as Robin. As the investigation deepens, the conspiracy framing them is revealed to be orchestrated by the clandestine Court of Owls, a centuries‑old organisation manipulating Gotham from the shadows.
Over time, the fugitives evolve from accused criminals into Gotham City’s newest defenders. United by circumstance and purpose, they adopt the mantle of the “Gotham Knights,” stepping into the void left by Bruce Wayne to protect the city from the forces that once sought to destroy them.
