Summary
Baxter the clown pilots the space coaster, a roller‑coaster‑style starship that ferries the adolescent musicians Francine, Danny, and Roy to the habitable asteroid Coasterville. The asteroid is inhabited by an assortment of eccentric, wise‑cracking puppet residents, including Goriddle Gorilla, Knock Knock the Woodpecker, Edison the Elephant, and Gary Gnu, host of The Gary Gnu Show.
Baxter is frequently pursued by M.T. Promises, a villainous ringmaster determined to recapture the clown who escaped his circus. Episodes often feature celebrity guest appearances, among them Mark Hamill and Marvin Hamlisch, and each instalment concludes with a distinct moral or life lesson.
