Summary
Set in a near future where a third of humanity uses H+, a neural implant that keeps the human mind connected to the Internet at all times, the series follows the consequences of a catastrophic failure of this technology. Developed by the Irish biotech firm Hplus Nano Teoranta to advance medical innovation, the implant becomes the target of a malicious hacker whose virus infects every connected user, killing one‑third of the world’s population.
The narrative unfolds non‑linearly, shifting across multiple timelines, locations, and character perspectives as it explores the origins of the disaster, the collapse that follows, and the survivors’ attempts to understand and respond to the global tragedy.
