Summary
Zuri Barlev moves with his father to the secretive Nuclear Research Village (NRV), a technologically advanced settlement founded after the discovery of a mysterious portal in the Negev. As Zuri uncovers strange deaths among residents and Noah’s involvement in them, he descends to the restricted lower levels and discovers the portal leads to an alien penal‑colony world where exiled criminals gained superhuman abilities.
Immune to the planet’s dangerous atmosphere, Zuri learns he is one of the Outsiders. When Noah disables a force field suppressing these abilities, many residents manifest powers, prompting Noah and the newly empowered Assaf to seek control of the alien spacecraft and its planetary influence.
