Summary
Halcyon is set in the year 2058 within a virtual‑reality corporation of the same name. The narrative adopts a crime‑drama format, following Jules Dover (portrayed by Lisa Marcos), a detective assigned to a specialised VR Crimes Unit responsible for investigating offences that occur within immersive digital environments.
Unlike earlier virtual‑reality productions that relied primarily on 360‑degree or stereoscopic filming, Halcyon is presented as an interactive series. Viewers are able to engage directly with virtual elements embedded in each case, examining digital clues as part of the unfolding murder‑mystery storyline.
