Summary

The series follows Yun Sae Bom, a resourceful special operations officer who secures the opportunity to move into a newly built apartment complex reserved for public servants by entering into a marriage of convenience with her long-time friend Jung I Hyeon.

Jung I Hyeon, now a detective, becomes involved in investigating the outbreak of a mysterious infectious disease. When the spread of the illness escalates, Han Tae Seok, head of the emergency response task force, orders the apartment complex to be sealed off from the rest of the city, leaving residents trapped inside.

As the quarantine continues, tensions rise among the inhabitants as fear, uncertainty, and dwindling resources expose deep social divisions within the community. While confronting the growing threat posed by the outbreak, Sae Bom and I Hyeon must also navigate the conflicts and inequalities that emerge among the residents.
