Summary
Three scientists, Amos Dvir, Avner HaLevy, and Roberto, research a cerebral energy phenomenon called the Lambda Ripples. When Amos and Avner postpone their planned experiment on gifted children, Roberto and Lilly Dvir secretly test it on the Dvirs’ toddlers, Maya and Jonathan. The experiment explodes, the children survive, Roberto is imprisoned, and Lilly leaves Israel.
Seven years later, Amos, now terminally ill, uses his Turbo‑Time device to age his children into teenagers, now known as Aya and Nini, and asks Avner to include them in a new gifted‑student initiative. Avner forms The Octette, a group of eight exceptional teens investigating the Lambda Ripples while navigating typical adolescent friendships and rivalries.
Lilly returns and, with Roberto, attempts to exploit the Octette’s energy, endangering the students and nearly killing Adam and Dganit. She is arrested, and Aya and Nini learn that their father is alive, living undercover as their teacher, Daddy. Due to the escalating risks, the project is shut down, the students are reassigned, and the season ends with Nini reverting to his original identity as Jonathan.
