Summary
Jordan and Aileen move into an old house where Jordan has secretly buried Monica, a former lover he accidentally killed. Monica’s spirit begins haunting the family, focusing on their ill daughter, Angel, whom she later abducts and raises for several years. When Angel is found, she no longer remembers her parents, and Monica’s hostility intensifies as the truth of her death emerges. A police investigation reveals Jordan’s culpability; he is fatally shot while resisting arrest. Monica captures Angel once more, but the child is saved through supernatural intervention, allowing Monica’s spirit to find peace. Angel eventually resumes her life, and during her birthday celebration, Jordan’s ghost silently observes from afar.
