Summary
FBI Special Agent Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) is dispatched to the isolated coastal town of Haven, Maine, to investigate what appears to be a routine case. Upon arrival, she becomes increasingly entangled in the re‑emergence of “The Troubles”, a cyclical outbreak of supernatural afflictions that has plagued the community on at least two prior occasions. Possessing an unusual openness to the paranormal, Parker soon discovers that Haven may hold personal answers as well, including clues to the identity of the mother she has never known.
As events escalate, Parker ultimately resigns from the FBI to join the Haven Police Department, where she begins to suspect that her presence in the town was orchestrated long before her arrival. Over time, she confronts the unsettling possibility that her name, her past, and even her memories may not be authentic. Her investigation gradually reveals deeper mysteries surrounding both Haven and her own true identity.
Working alongside her partner, Detective Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant), Parker faces the dual challenges posed by the destructive effects of the Troubles and by townspeople who resort to extreme measures against those afflicted. Together, they navigate the town’s escalating crises while attempting to protect its residents and uncover the forces driving Haven’s long‑buried secrets.
