Summary
A convergence of historical events and speculative science fiction unfolds at the end of the Qin Dynasty and the rise of the Han, centring on figures such as Qin Shi Huang, Liu Bang, Han Xin, Zhang Liang, and Xiang Yu.
Han Xin, a young man of exceptional yet unrecognised ability, suffers continual mistreatment and humiliation. His fate shifts when a mysterious man in black offers him the chance to alter his destiny. Empowered by divine forces, the stranger proposes assistance in exchange for a binding pact. As Qin Shi Huang, Liu Bang, Xiang Yu, and Zhang Liang advance toward an impending political and cosmic upheaval, Han Xin discovers that an unseen power has been manipulating the course of dynastic change.
