Summary
Okuno portrays Morimiya Taishi, a 17‑year‑old high school student whose given name, meaning “ambition,” reflects his aspiration to become a competitive wheelchair track‑and‑field athlete. He trains under Fukai Kyo, a former athlete who now serves as his coach. Supported by his father, an employee at a local factory, and by his childhood friend, Taishi eagerly begins his athletic journey.
One day, a strikingly handsome alien named Guu arrives on Earth, claiming to be a survivor of a genocide carried out in one of Earth’s twin‑star systems. Pursuing him is a colossal monster that attacks Taishi’s home. In the chaos, Guu gives Taishi a specialised transformation device that envelops him in a suit of advanced wheelchair‑based armour.
