Summary
The Highwayman centres on a futuristic law‑enforcement agent whose true partner is a technologically advanced semi‑truck equipped with an array of high‑tech systems. Set in the American West in the near future, a society beginning to slide into a quasi‑dystopian state reminiscent of Mad Max, the series follows the Highwayman, a federal marshal tasked with handling unusual and often dangerous cases.
He works alongside his Australian associate Jetto, portrayed by Jacko, best known for his “Energiser” battery commercials. Their assignments are issued by Ms. Winthrop, who oversees their operations. The truck’s maintenance and continual upgrades are handled by D.C. Montana, the team’s mechanic, who both installs new experimental equipment and ensures the existing systems remain fully operational.
