Summary
The series follows Kiyomi Endo, a single mother who works at the reception desk of a hotel in a small town near Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. One evening while returning home from work, she is rescued from an oncoming truck by her colleague Kosuke Takahashi. The circumstances of the rescue appear impossible, leading Kiyomi to question him about what she witnessed.
Takahashi subsequently reveals that he is an alien possessing extraordinary abilities. Although Kiyomi initially agrees to keep his identity a secret, she soon shares the information with her childhood friends, Hazuki Nakamura and Minami Hibino. As Kiyomi becomes increasingly familiar with Takahashi's abilities, she begins relying on him to assist with various everyday problems.
Over time, knowledge of Takahashi's powers spreads among Kiyomi's friends and fellow hotel employees, including Yumi Isomura and Takahiro Okuda, who also seek his assistance, often to his frustration. What begins as a series of minor requests gradually develops into a broader effort involving Kiyomi, her friends, and members of the hotel staff as they work together to address issues affecting the local community.
