Summary
Hounded is a CBBC sitcom starring comedian Rufus Hound. The series follows Hound as he is relentlessly pursued through space and time by the villainous Dr Muhahaha and the doctor’s formidable assistant, Steve.
A typical episode begins with Rufus heading to the BBC Television Centre to co‑present FunLab, where Gill and Barry repeatedly misintroduce him, prompting a new improvised reply each day. As he starts a themed experiment, his “meddling future self” appears, transports him to the future, and hands him a set of mundane objects that later prove crucial.
Rufus is then pulled into a parallel universe governed by special‑effects logic and ruled by the inept villain Dr Muhahaha and his assistant Steve. There, alternate versions of Gill and Barry, usually Gelina and Buck, help him thwart the doctor’s latest scheme.
