Summary
Set in the 22nd century, this UK science‑fiction comedy follows the eccentric crew of the British spacecraft HMS Camden Lock as they undertake the improbable mission of promoting British interests across the galaxy. The series blends workplace satire with space‑opera parody, focusing on the ship’s chaotic daily operations and the diplomatic misadventures that arise from its crew’s questionable competence.
At the helm is Commander Henderson, an upbeat yet delusional officer whose unwavering optimism is matched only by his belief that every order is open to creative interpretation.
