Summary
A brilliant but morally compromised scientist has constructed an advanced robot, a creation that quickly attracts the attention of the Government. Recognising the invention’s potential strategic value, officials make a covert and deeply unethical proposal: they will overlook, and effectively permit, the scientist’s plan to murder his adulterous wife in exchange for exclusive control of the robot.
Complicating matters further, the scientist’s assistant becomes the target of an international espionage organisation. Seeking to acquire the robot for their own purposes, the group resorts to blackmail and coercion, placing the assistant under immense pressure. Caught between government corruption and criminal manipulation, both men find themselves entangled in a web of betrayal, exploitation, and escalating danger centred on the coveted mechanical creation.
