Summary
Qi Yue, born into a comfortable family, drifts through life without ambition or direction. Her idle routine is shattered when her 25‑year‑old son, Qi Shuo, suddenly appears from the future. He warns her that she is destined for an unhappy marriage and a life filled with regret. Determined to change her fate, Qi Shuo travels back in time to guide his mother toward a better future.
When Qi Yue discovers that her future husband is Lu Xiao, the school’s top student, she is forced to confront the vast gap between them. Under Qi Shuo’s strict “transformation plan,” and through her own reluctant effort, Qi Yue gradually improves herself and eventually earns admission to the same university as Lu Xiao.
Once there, she boldly pursues him, while Qi Shuo strategically integrates himself into Lu Xiao’s social circle to support her. Through persistence, humour, and a fair amount of shameless charm, Qi Yue slowly breaks through Lu Xiao’s reserve and ultimately wins his heart.
