Summary
The story takes place in the aftermath of a global mutation outbreak that has brought civilisation to the brink of collapse. As society descends into chaos, a small group of survivors struggles to endure in a world overrun by both mutated creatures and dangerous human factions.
Among them is Dong Cheng Ming, whose extraordinary memory becomes a crucial asset in the fight for survival. He is joined by Yin Xiao Qing, a young woman who conceals a dangerous secret: she is partially infected. As the group searches for a cure and attempts to navigate the increasingly hostile world around them, they uncover a deeper understanding of the behaviour and nature of the infected.
As the crisis escalates, the conflict evolves beyond a simple struggle between humans and monsters. The survivors come to realise that the future of the world may depend on cooperation between compassionate humans and infected individuals who have retained their humanity. Together, they must confront those who seek to exploit the catastrophe and destroy what remains of civilisation, setting the stage for a decisive battle over the fate of both groups.
