Summary
The story centres on Harry and June, two teenagers who flee their restrictive family environments in an effort to build a life together. Their escape is abruptly complicated by the revelation that June possesses a rare and involuntary shape‑shifting ability, a phenomenon triggered under emotional duress and characterised by her physical transformation into other individuals.
