Summary
Hanzo, portrayed by Katori of SMAP, is a photo‑journalist from the town of Ogawawara who relocates to the city in search of professional opportunities. He partners with reporter Hijima (Fukatsu) on a series of crime‑related investigations, during which he inadvertently comes into possession of a potion that renders him completely invisible. This unexpected ability becomes a central tool in their investigative work, allowing Hanzo to uncover information and pursue leads that would otherwise be inaccessible.
The series initially adopts a light, comedic tone as Hanzo experiments with his newfound condition and applies it to various cases. As the narrative progresses, however, the programme shifts toward a more serious dramatic register, exploring the consequences and ethical dimensions of his invisibility while continuing to frame his efforts within the broader context of crime detection.
