Summary
Dr. Jekyll re‑emerges in 2007, living under the burden of his volatile counterpart, Mr Hyde. The two exist under a negotiated arrangement—a shared body, through which an uneasy equilibrium is maintained. Despite this precarious coexistence, Jekyll manages to sustain an outwardly ordinary life.
Unbeknownst to Hyde, Jekyll is married and has two children, whom he is determined to protect from the consequences of his darker persona. Equipped with modern surveillance systems and advanced technological safeguards, Jekyll attempts to regulate Hyde’s behaviour, effectively striking a personal pact with his own inner adversary.
Neither Jekyll nor Hyde is aware that their activities are being monitored by an ancient organisation possessing vast resources and influence. This group has been observing them for decades, and a long‑conceived plan is nearing completion. The reappearance of Dr. Jekyll is revealed to be deliberate rather than accidental, forming part of a design set in motion more than a century earlier.
