Summary
Jeremiah is a post‑apocalyptic drama set in an alternate 2021, fifteen years after The Big Death, a pandemic that killed nearly all people over the age of thirteen. The series follows Jeremiah, a solitary traveller searching for Valhalla Sector, a location identified by his missing father as a possible refuge. After meeting Kurdy in Colorado, Jeremiah becomes involved with Thunder Mountain, a survivor organisation operating from the remnants of the Cheyenne Mountain Complex and led by Markus Alexander.
The first season centres on Thunder Mountain’s conflict with Valhalla Sector, a fortified government bunker in Pennsylvania whose surviving leadership intends to rebuild society through authoritarian control and the weaponization of the virus. Season two shifts focus to a new adversary: Daniel, a prophetic leader commanding a vast army advancing from the East. The series concludes at the end of its second season, resolving the major narrative arcs after the defeat of Valhalla Sector and the rise of Daniel’s forces.
