Summary
Daisuke Yamamoto, a young boy orphaned after an aircraft accident in the Amazon rainforest, is taken in by an indigenous tribe and raised in isolation from modern society. Growing to adulthood as a self‑sufficient jungle dweller, Yamamoto’s life is irrevocably altered when the demon Gorgos, known as the Ten‑Faced Demon, annihilates the tribe in pursuit of the mystical GiGi Bracelet. Anticipating the threat, the tribe’s witch doctor entrusts the bracelet to Yamamoto and, drawing upon esoteric Incan scientific and magical practices, subjects him to a transformative ritual. This procedure grants Yamamoto enhanced physical abilities and a new identity as Kamen Rider Amazon.
Travelling to Japan, Yamamoto encounters a professor acquainted with his late father, but the professor is soon killed by Gorgos’s agents. Yamamoto rescues a boy named Masahiko, who subsequently guides him in adapting to contemporary Japanese society and bestows upon him the name “Amazon.” He later acquires the Jungler motorcycle and forms an alliance with Mogura‑Juujin, a former subordinate of Gorgos whom Amazon saves from execution. Together they confront Gorgos, ultimately destroying him in an atomic blast.
Following Gorgos’s defeat, the counterpart to the GiGi Bracelet, the GaGa Bracelet, is seized by the Garander Empire, an organisation commanded by Emperor Zero. Amazon continues his campaign against this new adversary, dismantling the Garander Empire and reclaiming both bracelets. With his obligations fulfilled, Yamamoto departs Japan to continue his travels abroad.
