Summary
Kamen Rider’s tenth instalment did not appear until 2000, when Kamen Rider Kuuga premiered, a production that deliberately broke from several long‑standing franchise conventions. The series centres on Yusuke Godai (portrayed by Joe Odagiri), who discovers an ancient belt unearthed from an archaeological site. When worn, the artefact allows him to transform into Kuuga, an insectoid warrior empowered by the relics of a lost civilisation.
