Summary
Kamen Rider Den‑O follows Ryotaro Nogami, an unassuming young man plagued by chronic misfortune whose life changes abruptly after he discovers a mysterious pass. This discovery draws him into the orbit of a strange girl, a time‑travelling train known as the DenLiner, and a class of beings called Imagin, entities from a divergent future who attempt to rewrite history by forming contracts with humans and manipulating their memories.
Ryotaro becomes host to the hot‑tempered and combative Momotaros, and with his help transforms into Kamen Rider Den‑O, travelling through different eras aboard the DenLiner to stop hostile Imagin from altering the past and destabilising the present and future. Over time, Ryotaro gains additional Imagin allies: Urataros, a smooth‑talking manipulator; Kintaros, a powerful but narcoleptic strongman; and Ryutaros, a childish yet formidable fighter. Each possesses Ryotaro in turn, giving Den‑O distinct combat forms aligned with their personalities.
Ryotaro later encounters Yuto Sakurai, a mysterious youth who transforms into Kamen Rider Zeronos, accompanied by his earnest but bumbling Imagin partner Deneb. Yuto is revealed to be the younger version of Airi Nogami’s fiancé, Sakurai, whose disappearance is tied to the Imagin conflict and the enigmatic figure known as the Junction Point, a nexus around which the fate of time itself revolves.
