Summary
After the events of the original series, Shiro Kazami witnesses a murder committed by Destron, a new organisation formed from the remnants of Gel‑Shocker under its leader, previously believed to be dead. Destron attempts to eliminate Kazami and later murders his family. Driven by grief and a need for justice, Kazami pleads with Takeshi Hongo and Hayato Ichimonji to transform him into a Kamen Rider. Although they initially refuse, his self‑sacrifice to protect them forces their hand.
Kazami is reborn as Kamen Rider V3. Shortly thereafter, the Double Riders give their lives to save Tokyo, leaving V3 to continue the fight against Destron within Japan. He is supported by Tobei Tachibana, the Kamen Rider Kid Corps, and later the Double Riders themselves, who are revealed to have survived and travelled abroad to combat Destron’s global operations.
As the conflict nears its climax, Kazami is joined by former Destron scientist Joji Yuki, also known as Riderman. Yuki ultimately sacrifices himself to protect Japan, and Kazami honours him by designating him Kamen Rider No. 4.
In the final battle, V3 confronts Destron’s leader and succeeds in halting the organisation’s reign of terror. However, the leader survives, leaving open the possibility that his forces may one day return to carry out his ambitions.
