Summary
Six months prior to the beginning of the series, a mysterious ritual conducted during a solar eclipse results in the creation of Phantoms, magical creatures born from humans with latent magical potential known as Gates. The ritual forces these individuals into overwhelming despair, triggering the emergence of a Phantom from within them. Haruto Soma, one of the few survivors of the ceremony, and Koyomi, a mysterious amnesiac girl, are entrusted by the enigmatic White Wizard to oppose the Phantoms.
Haruto is given the WizarDriver, enabling him to transform into Kamen Rider Wizard and protect other Gates from falling into despair and becoming Phantoms themselves. As Wizard continues his mission, Kosuke Nito appears, wielding ancient magic as Kamen Rider Beast. Dependent on consuming Phantom magical energy to survive, Nito becomes both a rival and an uneasy ally to Haruto.
Their battles bring them into conflict with the Phantoms’ leading figures: the volatile Phoenix, the cold and ruthless Medusa, the calculating Gremlin, and the inscrutable Wiseman. As the two wizards confront these adversaries, it becomes increasingly clear that the circumstances surrounding the ritual, the Phantoms’ origins, and Wiseman’s true intentions are far more complex than they initially appear.
