Summary
The series centres on Keita, a high‑school student who secretly serves as a “network investigator” for a covert organisation. In the introductory episode, Keita has recently transferred to a Tokyo school and finds it difficult to adjust. His closest friend from his former school arrives in the city, prompting the two to run away together. While passing through a construction site, they are attacked by a robot but are rescued by Takimoto and his unusual companion: a mobile phone equipped with arms and legs. This device, known as a Buddy Keitai, possesses advanced human‑intelligence capabilities and is depicted as a prototype of a model scheduled for commercial release in Japan in April.
