Summary
Killjoys centres on a trio of hard‑living bounty hunters, Dutch, John, and D’avin, who operate under the authority of the Reclamation Apprehension Coalition (RAC). Their jurisdiction encompasses the Quad, a four‑body planetary and lunar system. As RAC agents, they undertake warrants to retrieve individuals or property, wielding broad operational authority granted by the organisation. In accordance with RAC doctrine, its operatives swear strict neutrality, pledging allegiance to no government, faction, or political entity.
Although committed to their professional obligations, Dutch, John, and D’avin find their pasts resurfacing in ways that threaten both their mission and their survival. As old conflicts and hidden histories emerge, the trio must navigate escalating dangers to protect themselves and those they care about, all while maintaining the fragile balance demanded of RAC agents.
