Summary
On the final night of 1999, twenty‑two‑year‑old Atsushi Horigami suffers sudden heart failure and dies during the New Year’s Eve countdown. In the next instant, he awakens unharmed in his bedroom, only to discover that the year is 1995 and he is once again eighteen years old. Although physically returned to his younger self, Atsushi retains complete memory of the four years leading up to his death.
Caught in a recurring temporal loop, Atsushi is compelled to relive the same four‑year span repeatedly. Over successive cycles, he encounters two other individuals experiencing the same phenomenon, one of whom is already descending into madness as a result of the endless repetition.
