Summary
Adapted from Octavia E. Butler’s acclaimed novel Kindred, the FX television series centres on Dana James (Mallori Johnson), a young Black woman and aspiring writer who leaves behind a life defined by familial obligation and relocates to Los Angeles in pursuit of independence and creative possibility. Before she can settle into her new surroundings, Dana begins to experience violent and involuntary shifts through time.
