Summary
Sixty‑five million years ago, the knights of the Ryusoul Tribe were chosen to wage a military campaign against the authoritarian Druidon Tribe, a civilisation intent on establishing dominion over Earth. The conflict was abruptly terminated when the meteor impact that ended the age of the dinosaurs devastated the planet, compelling the Druidon to withdraw into space. As a precautionary measure, the biomechanical guardians known as the Kishiryu were placed into a deep, dormant state to await any future resurgence of the Druidon.
With the threat seemingly eliminated, the surviving Ryusoul knights adopted a peaceful existence, transmitting their mantle and combat traditions through successive generations. In the modern era, the Druidon return to reclaim Earth, prompting the current lineage of knights, now organised as the Ryusoulgers, to resume the ancient conflict. Their efforts are supported by Ui Tatsui and her father, Naohisa Tatsui, who provide logistical and investigative assistance as the Ryusoulgers confront the revived Druidon threat.
