Summary

Lance Mercado maintains a concealed heroic identity as Kapitan Boom, a costumed crime‑fighter whose existence is known only to his grandmother, Lola Gretchen, and his closest friend, Bukol. In times of crisis, Lance adopts the persona of Kapitan Boom, a figure dedicated to confronting threats and safeguarding the public. Outside these episodes, he continues his routine life as a college student.

Lance develops romantic feelings for his classmate Melody, but his longstanding insecurities hinder his attempts to express them. Melody, meanwhile, becomes captivated by Kapitan Boom, unaware that Lance and the superhero are the same individual. Although she eventually accepts Lance as a friend, he remains uncertain whether he can reveal his secret identity to her.
