Summary
Five young warriors of the Kyōryū Jinrui, an ancient civilisation of humans evolved from dinosaurs, are reawakened in the modern era after 170 million years of suspended animation. Their revival occurs when Bandora, a malevolent witch and sworn enemy of their people, is accidentally released from her sealed container on Planet Nemesis by two astronauts.
The five warriors, known collectively as the Zyurangers, assume their ancient duty to defend humanity from Bandora’s forces. To combat her growing threat, they summon the power of colossal, mechanical‑appearing deities called Guardian Beasts, each modeled after a different prehistoric creature and serving as the source of their strength.
As the conflict escalates, a sixth warrior, Burai, the Dragon Ranger, emerges and becomes entangled in the struggle between the Zyurangers and Bandora’s army, adding a new and complex dimension to the ancient battle revived in the present day.
