Summary
The Saima Clan begins gathering vast reserves of negative energy in an effort to resurrect their sovereign, the witch‑queen Grandienne. Their activities inadvertently trigger a series of disasters across Earth. In response, Dr. Mondo Tatsumi, descendant of a lineage of firefighters dating back to the Edo period, establishes the Tatsumi Laboratory for Disaster Prevention. Following long‑standing Sentai tradition, he appoints his own children as the operatives of the emergency response team GoGoFive.
Ten Tatsumi (Nishioka), formerly a member of the Captain Fire Fighters Bureau (CFFB), assumes the role of Go Red. His former colleague Rumi (Taniguchi), known for his calm and analytical disposition, becomes Go Blue. Sho (Harada), a gentle‑natured former pilot with the CFFB Aerial Division, serves as Go Green. Daimon (Shibata), once a police officer and distinguished for his strong sense of justice, takes on the mantle of Go Yellow. The team’s sole female member, Sai (Sakaguchi), previously an emergency nurse at National Rinkai Hospital, completes the roster as Go Pink.
Together, the Tatsumi siblings form the core of the GoGoFive team, standing as Earth’s primary defence against the destructive ambitions of the Saima Clan.
