Summary
The series follows Shun, a galactic civil engineer assigned to oversee the destruction of Earth in order to make way for an interstellar transportation route. Unaware of the threat facing their planet, humanity continues its daily existence while Shun arrives to carry out his mission.
Shortly after reaching Earth, Shun encounters Chondan, the owner of a small Thai restaurant, whose cooking leaves a profound impression on him. Rather than proceeding with the planned demolition, Shun secretly delays the operation so that he can continue experiencing Earth's cuisine. As he spends more time with Chondan and becomes increasingly familiar with life on Earth, Shun begins to reassess both his mission and his attachment to the planet.
