Summary
Luo Ran’s investigation into the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death leads him, together with his long-time associate Ning Yu, to pursue the prime suspect, Jiang Xue. Their search brings them aboard a train bound for C City. Mid‑journey, the train derails under unexplained conditions, and roughly one hundred survivors are abruptly transported to a devastated, seemingly abandoned urban environment, entirely isolated from the outside world.
The ruined city presents continuous threats, its resources rapidly diminishing. As individuals begin to perish or vanish without trace, the remaining survivors are forced into an unforgiving struggle for endurance, marking the onset of a harsh and escalating contest for survival.
