Summary
Extra-terrestrial visitors from Verunia, a planet located in another galaxy and rendered uninhabitable after multiple nuclear conflicts, arrive on Earth, which they regard as a paradisiacal refuge. Their mission is to assist humanity during a period of global crisis, notably when a comet poses a significant threat to the planet.
The Verunians introduce advanced technology and establish a lunar base designed to facilitate trade and cooperation with Earth’s population. In exchange, humanity is expected to commit to safeguarding its own world. Across the series, various armed factions oppose the Verunia–Terra accord, functioning as antagonists who attempt to undermine the alliance.
