Summary
The series follows Gu Qian Yu, a young man who has struggled with severe emotional trauma since losing his parents in a childhood car accident. Unable to form close relationships or experience a sense of love and belonging, he lives an isolated existence marked by the lasting effects of his past.
His life begins to change when he encounters Zeng Fan Xing, an advanced robot designed to serve as both a companion and a therapeutic aid. Through their growing connection, she attempts to help him confront the psychological wounds that have shaped his life and hindered his ability to connect with others.
As Gu Qian Yu gradually opens himself to the possibility of trust and affection, the series explores themes of grief, healing, and human connection through the unusual relationship between a traumatised young man and an artificial companion.
