Summary
During Japan’s Edo period, an extra-terrestrial entity known as Demon Scorpion emerges from an unidentified region of space with the intention of assassinating Tokugawa and devastating the country. To execute his plan, he commands the Scorpion Ninja Army and deploys a series of giant demonic creatures to terrorise the populace.
In response to this threat, the shogunate summons his elite ninja bodyguards, the Mitsurugi siblings Ginga, Suisei, and Gekko. When confronted by a towering demon, the three warriors leap into action, crossing their swords to merge into Mitsurugi, an armoured combatant endowed with enhanced abilities and charged with defending the realm.
