Summary
The series follows two diminutive extra-terrestrial beings, Mik and Mak, who originate from the planet Galacton. After an emergency landing leaves them stranded on Earth and in a weakened state, they are discovered by Mon, a conscientious milkman. With assistance from his girlfriend, Sofie, and the local veterinarian, Dr. Groeneman, Mon helps the pair recover by administering milk, which restores their strength.
As representatives of Galacton, Mik and Mak must be protected from the authorities, particularly the military, which seeks to capture them. Their human allies undertake the task of safeguarding the visitors and preparing for their eventual return home. Because Earth proves inhospitable for the aliens, considerable effort is required to repair their damaged spacecraft and ensure their safe departure.
In the second season, Mik and Mak return to Earth once more, this time to confront a formidable adversary known as the Sponkmeester.
