Summary
German actor Markus Knüfken portrays the Millennium Man, a cybernetically enhanced operative equipped with specialised bionic systems. Although outwardly indistinguishable from an ordinary human being, he undertakes complex and high‑risk missions on behalf of the European Task Force (ETF), a covert organisation employing advanced technological methods in its operations.
Prior to his involvement with the ETF, Nikolas Beyer served as a narcotics investigator. Following a severe assassination attempt in which he sustained life‑threatening injuries, Beyer was officially declared dead and subsequently transferred into the classified research initiative known asMillennium Mann. Through this programme, he was reconstructed as the cybernetic agent later designated the Millennium Man.
The character’s activities are supported by Andrea Lüdke as Dr. Kathrin Stern, a scientist responsible for overseeing aspects of the project, and Rainer Grenkowitz, who appears as Beyer’s trainer, guiding him in the application of his enhanced capabilities.
