Summary
In 2065, Washington, D.C. is home to Dash, a former precog whose innate ability allows him to foresee impending crimes. The Precrime programme, once reliant on Dash, his twin brother Arthur, and their foster sister Agatha, was dismantled in 2054, compelling law‑enforcement agencies to adopt conventional investigative methods. The trio’s precognitive talents were the product of the now‑defunct initiative, which had sought to harness their abilities for preventative policing.
Living in the aftermath of the programme’s dissolution, Dash covertly employs his foresight to assist Detective Lara Vega in averting violent offences before they occur. His efforts are complicated by the need to conceal his identity, as various parties remain determined to reclaim the precogs and exploit their abilities once more, regardless of the cost.
