Summary
In 2015, one year after the reappearance of Godzilla, half‑siblings Cate and Kentaro Randa begin investigating the disappearance of their father, Hiroshi Randa, and his apparent ties to Monarch, the clandestine organization responsible for monitoring giant creatures classified as Titans or MUTOs (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms). Their inquiry unfolds alongside a parallel narrative set two generations earlier, in which scientists Bill Randa and Keiko Miura contribute to the formative development of Monarch. Across both eras, former Army officer Lee Shaw emerges as a central ally to the Randa family, maintaining a continuous presence throughout the organization’s evolution.
